Paul Sternhagen, Percussion

     Paul Sternhagen received his Bachelor of Music degree, cum laude, from Northern Arizona University. He currently works with many groups in Southern California, including Long Beach Opera, California Philharmonic, Santa Barbara Symphony, New West Symphony, Opera Pacific, Los Angeles Jewish Symphony and Riverside Philharmonic. From 1992-95 he was the drummer /percussionist for Tuxedo Cowboy. Paul has been the percussion coach for the Los Angeles Youth Orchestra since 1999, and has introduced hundreds of elementary school students to the exciting family of percussion instruments through performances with Creative Artists Percussion Ensemble and Percussion Junction.
